Andrei Medvedev's family Few words about Andrei's family

As far as the most of you know, Andrei Medvedev's family all have connection to the tennis. His mother Svetlana Medvedeva is famous Ukrainian tennis coach (She is Elena Tatarkova's coach), his step-father Yuri Cherepov was Andrei's first coach. Now He is the Ukrainian Davis cup team captain. And of course, Andrei's older sister Natasha who was very well known tennis player in the past. She won 4 singles and 12 double's titles through out her tennis carrer. Natasha was coached by her mother and she Began playing at age 8.

Natasha MedvedevaNatasha Medvedeva turned pro in August of 1987 and won 4 ITF titles that year. In 1992 she was Nominated for WTA TOUR Comeback Player of the Year Award. He ended 1993 at number 23 of the World rankings. Unfortunately, she was off the tour January-September 1997 due to injury; off tour again from September 1997 through all of 1998 and finally was forced to retire from her tennis career.

These days Natasha Medvedevat eaches children tennis in Kiev. She is a member of Executive Commitee of the Ukrainian tennis Federation
